Privacy policy

Last updated: June 2026. De Waard Digital Architects & Strategists (DWDA) respects your privacy and processes personal data carefully and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This privacy policy explains which data we collect, why, and what rights you have.

Who we are

DWDA (De Waard Digital Architects & Strategists) is based in Breda, the Netherlands, and is the data controller for the processing of personal data via this website. For privacy questions, contact info@dwda.nl.

What data we process

Contact details you provide yourself via the contact form or by email: your name, organisation, email address and the content of your message.

Appointment details when you book a call via our scheduling tool (Calendly): your name, email address and the chosen time slot.

Payment details when you pay for a service: payment is handled by our payment provider Mollie. We never receive full card or bank details; these are processed solely by Mollie.

Technical and usage data via cookies and analytics, such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited. We only process these with your consent.

Purposes and legal bases

We process your data to contact you and answer your question, to schedule appointments, to deliver and invoice services, and to improve the website through analytics. The legal bases are your consent, the performance of a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to your message.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies. Functional cookies are necessary for the site to work. Analytical and marketing cookies are only placed with your consent, which you manage via the cookie banner (Cookiebot). We use Google Analytics (GA4) to measure anonymised website usage. See our Cookie statement for the current overview.

Sharing with third parties

We never sell your data. We do engage carefully selected processors that help us deliver the service: TransIP (hosting and email), Calendly (appointments), Mollie (payments), Google (analytics) and Cookiebot (consent management). Where required, data processing agreements are in place. Where data is processed outside the EU, this is done under appropriate safeguards.

Retention periods

We do not keep your data longer than necessary. Contact and appointment data are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and afterwards for our administration. Invoice and payment data are kept in line with the statutory tax retention period of seven years.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, and the right to object or to withdraw consent you have given. Send your request to info@dwda.nl. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including a secure https connection.

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The most current version is always available on this page.
